California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, grants credit toward its undergraduate degrees for successful completion of examinations of the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board. Students who present scores of three or better will be granted up to six semester units (nine quarter units) of college credit. Students may not receive credit for a course for which they already have received credit from an AP examination. Interdisciplinary General Education (IGE) program students may use AP credit to substitute for a maximum of two courses in the IGE sequence.
