About the Course

In AP Drawing, you’ll use the skills you learn in the course, and your own ideas, to create unique works of art. Throughout the course, you’ll develop an inquiry that guides artmaking through practice, experimentation, and revision of materials, processes, and ideas while demonstrating drawing skills through painting, drawing, sequential art, printmaking, illustration, animation, fibers, and others.

There are no prerequisites for this course, but any experience creating art and design work through drawing, in or out of the classroom, will be helpful.

AP Art and Design Portfolio Due Date

Your teacher or AP coordinator will likely set an earlier deadline, which you should follow, but you must submit all three AP Art and Design portfolio components as final in the AP Digital Portfolio by this date.
