Develop your skills in a three-dimensional medium such as sculpture, architectural models, metal work, ceramics, glass work, and others as you learn the principles of 3-D design. You’ll create artwork that reflects your own ideas and skills and what you’ve learned.
A one-semester, introductory college course in 3-D art and design
There are no prerequisites for this course, but any experience creating three-dimensional art and design work, in or out of the classroom, will be helpful.
You’ll learn how artists and designers decide what to make and why and how to make it.
You’ll study the processes and techniques that artists and designers use when they create work.
You’ll explore why and how artists and designers present their work to viewers.
