AP Art and Design Portfolio Submission Requirements
Requirements and Recommendations for Digital Images
All images must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format (file name extension .jpg, .jpeg, or .png) and RGB color mode.
Recommendations for Labeling Images
Before uploading your work in the AP Digital Portfolio, you’ll first need to save and label your images for easy reference when you’re ready to upload. Here are some tips you can follow to help keep your work organized.
- Avoid special characters when labeling your work. Use the standard English alphabet (upper and lower case: A-Z, a-z) or numeric (0-9) values only.
- Label the image with your first and last name and the sequence order of the image (e.g., FirstLast_1).
- Keep all of your labeled images in a folder you can easily find and use a name for the folder that you’ll remember (e.g., AP Art and Design Images).
Recommended Image Sizes
- The maximum file size for uploaded images is 4 MB per image.
- Images should not be smaller than 480 pixels in any direction for optimal viewing.
